Seychell is pleased to report that sales are up 7% so far in 2018 due to growth with existing customers together with the effect taking on around 30 new customers. October 2018 was a record for the company both in terms of order intake and sales.
The increase in sales has also been accompanied with further improvements in the Company’s Key Performance Indicators especially in the areas of On-Time Delivery, Quality and Productivity with October 2018 having the best KPI’s in the Company’s history.
The improved performance is a result of the dedication and hard work of the Seychell team together with the Company’s further investment in new machinery and equipment as part of the ongoing business improvement programme in addition to the continuing improvements in systems and processes across the business.
During 2018 the Seychell has invested significantly in CNC machines, welding benches, drilling machines and a Faro arm to improve inspection. In addition, the business has also spent a lot of time and money improving health and safety.
Roger Williams (Managing Director) commented that he was delighted with the performance of the business during 2018 and thanked the Seychell team for their hard work and support. He also looked forward to further growth and continued service improvements during 2019.
